FUTURE OF LEARNINGTHINKERACY

I've just spent an hour with MMC Learning looking at how avatars and AI-generated video are about to reshape marketing.

And honestly, it was fascinating. Scary-fascinating. Sci-fi scary. And I'm getting to live through it. I'm watching this reshape everything about how we think about building products for the next generation.

It's clear this is going to change how content is created, scaled and distributed. How people work. Just… everything.

But I found myself back at the question that keeps stopping me. The question that birthed Acorn Studio Press.

It's one thing for us, as adults, to talk about challenging AI.
We grew up in a world without it. We learned how to question, how to doubt, how to double-check, how to be cynical, how to form and hold opinions.
But what happens to children who grow up in a world where AI has always been there?

Where answers are instant. Confident. Frictionless. (Not sometimes. Always.)
And based on… what? More AI? The most socially influential source at the time?
For that generation, the challenge isn't just knowing when AI is wrong. It's knowing that it can - and should - be questioned in the first place.

Because if you've never had to deal with ambiguity, never had to form your own view, never had to try to persuade someone else…
What are you comparing the answer to?

We're not just introducing AI as a tool. We're reshaping how a generation forms opinions, builds confidence, and understands what to trust - quietly rewriting the social psychology of how people learn to think, influence, and belong.

And that feels like a much bigger conversation.
